Stated Meeting (Astrology)

Rather than a system of divination particularly, astrology is better thought of as a symbolic language that reveals archetypal truths about human nature. An understanding of astrology informs all philosophical inquiry with a rich fabric of metaphorical ideas – many of which transcend human expression. This presentation will offer an overview of the four main branches of astrology as practised in the Western Mystery traditions and will touch upon the symbolism informing the discipline which, over thousands of years, reached perfection in Renaissance Hermetic and Kabbalistic exegeses.
